When it comes to classic Disney attractions, one of the biggest attractions I wish I had ridden as a kid was the old 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea at the Magic Kingdom. I don’t remember riding that as a kid, and it truly sounds like a ride that was really cool. For me, the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage has such a similar look and feel as 20,000 Leagues did that I think this will be, perhaps, one of my favorite attractions at Disneyland. This attraction is my choice for Day 69 in our countdown til Disneyland series!
I’m sure there will be plenty of people who say that this attraction is nothing like 20,000 Leagues, and I’m sure that is the case. In this respect, it’s the submarines that remind me of 20,000 Leagues more then anything, although I’m certain that the actual attraction will be wildly different. Does the attraction go under water? Is it fun? Is it a must see, multiple times, like I think it is? So many questions, the answers won’t come until we experience it for ourselves in June!
Thank you all for stopping by, I hope you have a great day, and have enjoyed our look at the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage!
It looks a lot like 20,000 Leagues to me. I remember that ride fondly from my first visit in 1988. I’ll be anxious to hear your thoughts on this one!
Thanks for commenting, Heidi! I’ll let you know how it goes!
My daughter and I always go on this ride! It’s one of our favorites! We try to do this first in the morning because there’s no Fastpass, so the line does get long during the day. It’s also best to do it in the during instead of night because you can see more of the lagoon with the sun shining in the water. Hope you find it fun!
