The Mark Twain Riverboat appears to me to be much like the Liberty Belle that is located at the Magic Kingdom. As such, it is something that we are going to enjoy doing, but it will be similar in nature to the attraction located in Liberty Square. However, one thing that is definitely different about the crafts is the look of them. It’s hard for me to put it into words, but if you compare the two photos (the one at the beginning and this one of the Liberty Belle) you can certainly see there is a difference. Tell me, which one do you think looks better?

What I do know is this — we will ride the Mark Twain Riverboat because, for starters, it’s a Disneyland original attraction, dating back to 1955, and two, I think it will provide some of the most unique photograph locations you can find at the Park. Tell me what you think, do you like the trip back in time you experience on board the Mark Twain Riverboat? Please let me know what you think in the comments below, and thanks for stopping by!

I rode the Mark Twain many times, and found it a bit more fun than the Belle. The pirate ship is also fun, the shoot canons at the fort.
Hi Mike, it is a Disneyland original and here’s an interesting fact. Walt and Lillian Disney celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary 4 days before the Disneyland opening with a party on the Mark Twain Riverboat. It’s the same boat so I always pause knowing I am on a vessel Walt was on. Such a special place!
